Two weeks ago, we introduced you to Julien, who was finishing his career in our Hilo Tech bootcamp — an initiative we launched to train IT talent in our own way. A program that is intensive, practical and above all, in line with our culture.

Today, we'll talk to you again about the bootcamp, but through the journey of one of our pillars: William.

🎓 A graduate in history from McGill, William had enrolled in a computer science course, ready to go back to school. The registration was done. But when it was time to get started... he chose Hilo Tech.

We literally took him by surprise. Two months of bootcamp later, he joined the team. Three years later, it is indispensable! ✨💻

It can tell you the Windows story... but more importantly, it can solve complex technical problems, implement lasting solutions, and understand a customer context in a way few people know how to do.

At Hilo, we believe that personality, drive, and cultural alignment take precedence over the resume. Bootcamp is no substitute for a degree, but it can definitely change a life — and turn an enthusiast into an expert.
